Recently, we had the incredible opportunity to work with Optomen Television on behalf of ITV2 for a very special project: Princess Andre’s 18th birthday party at the glamorous Mrs Riot venue in Covent Garden.
Princess Andre, the daughter of much-loved celebrities Peter Andre and Katie Price, celebrated this milestone birthday in true style, and our décor set the stage for a night to remember. The spectacular celebration was featured on the hit UK TV series, The Princess Diaries, which is currently trending on ITVX.
This high-profile event called for show-stopping elegance, and our team rose to the challenge, providing dazzling décor that perfectly complemented the vibrant atmosphere of the party.
The Venue: Mrs Riot, Covent Garden
Nestled in the heart of Covent Garden, Mrs Riot is a bold, stylish venue renowned for its eclectic energy and Instagram-worthy interiors. Known for hosting London’s most fashionable parties, Mrs Riot set the perfect stage for Princess Andre’s milestone celebration. The venue’s playful yet chic aesthetic gave us the freedom to design an installation that combined glamour, fun, and sophistication the perfect backdrop for an 18th birthday party that would later be seen by thousands on national television.
Creating the Perfect Backdrop
To make the event truly memorable, we carefully curated and installed a range of bespoke décor pieces that set the tone for the entire celebration:
- Silver Sequin Wall
A shimmering focal point designed to capture attention and provide the ultimate photo backdrop. This statement piece glistened under the venue’s lighting, adding a touch of Hollywood glamour. - White 4ft Light-Up Numbers '18'
Celebrating Princess’s milestone birthday deserved a bold centrepiece, and our iconic light-up numbers provided just that. Their warm glow illuminated the space and framed countless memorable photographs. - 'Happy Birthday' Neon Sign
Our stylish neon signage added a trendy, modern vibe to the celebration. Positioned against the sequin wall, it elevated the space into a visually stunning scene. - Balloon Garland & Helium Clusters in Pink
To soften the metallic glamour, we styled an elegant balloon garland paired with helium clusters in beautiful shades of pink. These playful pops of colour tied the décor together and created a festive yet sophisticated aesthetic.
Each element was designed and positioned with precision to maximise impact and complement the event’s overall styling.

Collaborating with Optomen Television on behalf of ITV2 was an exciting opportunity for us to showcase what we do best. From the initial brief to installation, our team worked closely with the production company to ensure the décor aligned perfectly with the creative vision of The Princess Diaries. The show captures real-life celebrations and glamorous milestones, so our installations had to look breathtaking on screen as well as in person.
Despite incredibly tight deadlines, our team delivered with flawless execution, ensuring every detail was TV-ready.
